Astria Final Gaming Session

Our final session of playing Astria was a lot more active and a lot more interesting. Most of the things that were said to me were confusing but overall I really liked playing Astria because the paragraphs or the messages that had been said to me had some new and interesting vocabulary that made me think more.

Camp 2018

Last week our year 7 & 8 students went on a 3 day camp at Ferndale lodge. This camp helped us all get closer to each other and has also helped us work together as a team. I have chosen this photo to show others that my partner and I have gotten closer and have started to get along with each other.

Astria Gaming Session

I partly agree and disagree at the same time. Mostly because it didn't really teach me that much things but it helps me to think more and to think critically about the decisions I have made.

I found this test a lot easier than the last test I took. I just need to work on my Sqr, Roots & Factors. I did really well. I am going to work hard to move from stage 7 to stage 8.

I found this a bit challenging. I need to work on my Fractions & Percentages. I didn't do well on this test because Stage 7 has a few things I don't fully understand yet. I am going to work hard on trying to improve my result.

Over the past 3 days, I have been learning about puberty and what happens during puberty. Here is what some of my classmates learnt in the Life Education caravan.

Prototec - Timed

Today I had just done my Prototec Timed on stage 6. For my result I got 31 out of 40 on Prototec and I have improved from last week Friday. I hope to improve on getting a 37 out of 40 next week so I can move up a stage and start working on new strategies.

Tonga hit by worst storm in 60 Years

To me seeing what had happened to Tonga on the news made feel heartbroken. I never thought something would happen like that to the island of Tonga. The situation was so bad it hurt a lot of people who lived there. I pray that they are all safe.
